Store Policy

Substitutions:
For a variety of reasons, we will occasionally run out of a specific item. While this situation does not occur often, we (Avery and Lottie, LLC) reserve the right to substitute an item with one of our products of equal or greater value. During the summer months (May to October), chocolate items in regular (non variant) gifts may be substituted with hard candy items.
Cancellation Policy:
Carrier Delivery Shipping: We pride ourselves on quick turn around times for shipping and as such require orders shipped through a carrier (UPS, Fedex, USPS) be canceled within 24 hours of order confirmation. All orders canceled greater than 24 hours after receipt of order confirmation are subject to a handling fee equal to 15% of the order total. Furthermore, an order cannot be canceled once it has been shipped. If you decide to cancel after shipment, our standard return policy applies. The 24 hour cancellation policy does not apply to orders where Express shipping has been requested. In the case of Express shipping, all orders must be canceled within 3 hours of order confirmation. An Express shipping order which is not canceled within 3 hours of order confirmation receipt will be subject to the same restrictions as outlined above.

Cancellation Fee:
All canceled orders placed with a credit card or Paypal, which has already been processed, will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 3.5% of the total order. This cancellation fee is separate from any handling fees or shipping fees that may be associated with canceled, refused or returned orders as described in any of our policies.

Chargebacks:
Charges will apply for any chargeback fees and bank fees on behalf of Avery and Lottie, LLC, should you decide to reverse or dispute any charges made to your credit card and if the chargeback outcome is made in our favor. You acknowledge chargebacks, disputes, or payment reversals will not be carried out prior to discussing the situation with our support team. You acknowledge that the delivery of gifts, and related products may not allow Avery and Lottie, LLC to prove the products were delivered to you. Proof of delivery may be limited when: you send a product to someone else, we work with a third party to fulfill your order and that third party does not require signature for delivery and/or take a photo of the product, or tracking information is unavailable due to hand delivery.

Payments:
All payment is taken in United States Dollars. Payment is taken at the time of order, unless communicated otherwise. For orders placed directly with us, we accept all major credit cards. For all charges or deposits for any products ordered by you directly from Avery and Lottie, LLC, we will bill your bank card or alternative payment method offered by Avery and Lottie, LLC, and you agree to pay all such charges or deposits. When you provide card information, account numbers or other information necessary to facilitate payment to us or our authorized representatives, you represent and warrant to us that you are the authorized user of the card that is used to pay for the products. In the event legal action is necessary to collect on balances due, you agree to reimburse Avery and Lottie, LLC and its authorized representatives for all expenses incurred to recover sums due, including attorneys’ fees and other legal expenses. You are responsible for purchase of, and payment of charges for, all Internet access services and telecommunications services needed for use of the website.

Promo Codes:
On occasion, Avery and Lottie, LLC may issue promotion codes (including discounts and sales prices) that may be redeemed at the time of check out. These codes are non-transferable and may only be used by the intended recipient; these codes have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. We reserve the right to cancel any promotion code and reduction redemption when the total value of the promotion code exceeds the price of the item. A promotion code may not be combined with another promotion code or applied to previous orders. Avery and Lottie, LLC is not responsible for any financial loss arising out of our refusal, cancellation, or withdrawal of a promotion or any failure or inability of a customer to use a promotion code for any reason. We reserve the right to shorten the duration of any promotion or other special offering.
